In June, three new series, all of different genres, are hitting the streamer, and there's definitely something for everyone. Whether you're into sports comedies, crime thrillers, or historical romances, here's what to watch on Apple TV+ this month.

If you were a fan of Ted Lasso, chances are you're going to fall in love with Stick. The new sports comedy, starring Owen Wilson, delivers a redemption arc story that's perfect for teeing off summer.

Owen will play Pryce Cahill, a former golf pro whose life looks a lot different nowadays. Instead of soaking up stardom, a meltdown on the course two decades ago wrecked his career, and he winds up divorced and working at a sporting goods store. But then Pryce gets the chance to mentor a teenage prodigy named Santi, and his fate starts to turn around.

"Stick is a heartfelt, feel-good sports comedy about a found family and their relationships set within the world of golf as it has never been shown before," per Apple TV+.

Cast members include Peter Dager, Lilli Kay, Mariana Treviño, Marc Maron, and Judy Greer. You can catch the first three episodes when they hit the streaming platform on June 4, with weekly releases thereafter until July 23.

The Buccaneers (Season 2)

Searching for something to tide you over until Season 4 of Bridgerton comes out next year? This historical drama might scratch the itch.

Created by Katherine Jakeways and inspired by Edith Wharton's unfinished novel, The Buccaneers follows young American women as they're sent to London during the 1870s to find husbands. Season 1 came out in November 2023, and now, season 2 is coming to Apple TV+ this month.

Fans can look forward to the arrival of Leighton Meester, best known for her role as Blair Waldorf on Gossip Girl, alongside returning cast members Kristine Froseth, Alisha Boe, and Imogen Waterhouse.

Season 2, Episode 1 of The Buccaneers will premiere on Wednesday, June 18. Then, episodes will be released weekly until August 6.

Finally, crime drama connoisseurs shouldn't sleep on Smoke. Taron Egerton is starring as Dave Gudsen, an arson investigator who's tracking Pacific Northwest serial arsonists. He's forced to partner with a detective named Michelle, played by Jurnee Smollett, to get to the bottom of the case.

Smoke is actually inspired by real-life events and the Firebug podcast. Created by Dennis Lehane, the limited series' supporting cast includes Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Hannah Emily Anderson, Luke Roessler, Mishka Thébaud, and more.

You can watch the first two episodes when they debut on June 27 and stream subsequent episodes weekly through August 15.
