The 5 Best Hulu Shows To Watch In June 2025

I've honestly been loving Hulu lately. Sometimes, it's tempting to cut back on streaming subscriptions to save a bit of extra cash each month, but this particular platform isn't one I'm willing to give up just yet.

That's because, back in March, I was gripped by the release of Good American Family starring Ellen Pompeo. Then, in May, we were blessed with season 2 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, and the drama continues to keep me (and fans across the country) in a chokehold. Not to mention, the streamer also offers a lot of spin-off Jeopardy! content, like Jeopardy! Masters and Celebrity Jeopardy!, both of which I watch religiously.

And as we plunge deeper into June, it's safe to say that Hulu is showing no signs of slowing down. Here are some of the hottest shows on the horizon this month.

Call Her Alex

Call Her Alex

Alex Cooper successfully turned her once very raunchy sex and relationships podcast, Call Her Daddy, into an empire. First, she founded Trending, a Gen Z media venture, with her husband, Matt Kaplan. Then, she launched the Unwell Network, a subsidiary of Trending that produces podcasts, live shows, and other forms of entertainment.

And now, on June 10, Alex is getting a two-part docuseries on Hulu titled Call Her Alex. The Daddy Gang will get to follow her as she embarks on her first tour and learn more about Alex, who went from growing up in Pennsylvania to becoming a social media icon.

The Bear (Season 4)

FX knew what they were doing when they cast Jeremy Allen White as Carmy in The Bear. The show, which first debuted in 2022, has experienced three highly successful seasons and taken home a whopping 21 Emmys.

So, fans are on the edge of their seats for Season 4, hitting Hulu on June 25. The last time we saw Carmy, he'd managed to turn his Chicagosandwich shop into an elevated eatery. But a looming Chicago Tribune review left us with a bit of a cliffhanger.

The Snake

The Snake

Reality TV lovers will also get a new dose of drama this month with The Snake, a competition series. Dropping on June 11 and hosted by comedian Jim Jefferies, the show features 15 contestants from all different backgrounds who have to complete challenges in the fight for a $100,000 prize.

What sets The Snake apart from other competition shows, though, is the fact that each week, someone is actually competing to become "the snake." This affords them the opportunity to control the elimination ceremony and paves the way for plenty of alliances and betrayals.

Adults

If you previously grieved the loss of Friends, you might appreciate Adults, a fresh take on the classic friend group setup. Starring Malik Elassal, Lucy Freyer, Jack Innanen, Amita Rao, and Owen Thiele, the show follows a group of twenty-somethings who live together in New York and are trying to figure out their adult lives.

Whether you're currently in the same boat or just want to reflect on the chaotic experiences you suffered in your twenties, the first two episodes of Adults came out on May 28. And now, two new episodes are premiering each Sunday until June 18.

Nine Perfect Strangers (Season 2)

Those of us who are missing The White Lotus may find some comfort in Nine Perfect Strangers, a thriller with a similarly unsettling premise. Inspired by Liane Moriarty's book of the same name, it stars Nicole Kidman as Masha Dmitrichenko, a resort director who watches over 9 guests at a health-and-wellness resort for a retreat.

Season 2 premiered on May 21, and episodes are being released weekly up until the finale, which is airing on July 2. Other notable cast members this season include Henry Golding, Annie Murphy, Lena Olin, and Christine Baranski.
