If you're into stories that mix fame, friendship, and a bit of chaos, Wild Things should be on your radar. The upcoming Apple TV+ limited series stars Jude Law and Andrew Garfield and dives into the lives of Siegfried Fischbacher and Roy Horn—the iconic Las Vegas magicians known for their elaborate shows featuring white tigers.

It's based on the Apple Original podcast of the same name, but the series will take things even further, bringing their story to life on screen.

What's 'Wild Things' about?

The show follows Siegfried and Roy's journey from modest beginnings in Germany to becoming two of the most recognizable performers in Vegas history. Their act wasn’t just about flashy stunts—it was a full production that drew huge crowds and took risks, especially with the use of big cats. The show will also dig into what Vegas was like during that era and how the city played a role in shaping their rise.

They became known for blending magic with high-stakes drama and helped transform what people expected from a Vegas residency. But everything changed in 2003, when Roy was attacked during a live show—a moment that ended their time on stage and marked a major turning point in both of their lives: two men's close personal and professional relationships, in addition to their ascent and fall to stardom.

In the midst of Vegas' most flamboyant period, the narrative is full of ambition, inventiveness, and emotional depth. There's a lot to unpack—from the pressure of keeping up a world-famous act to the realities of their private lives behind the scenes.

Who's starring in 'Wild Things'?

Jude Law is set to play Siegfried, while Andrew Garfield will take on the role of Roy. Both actors will also serve as executive producers, which means they're involved in more than just performing. They're helping shape the story and overall direction of the series.

Given their track records with work that is deeply built on character, it's safe to expect thoughtful portrayals of who these men were and what legacy they left behind.

Who's working on 'Wild Things' behind the scenes?

John Hoffman, known for co-creating Only Murders in the Building, is the showrunner and writer. He's joined by Matt Shakman and Brian Grazer as executive producers. This team has a strong grip on telling emotionally grounded stories with style, which should give Wild Things a solid foundation.

When will 'Wild Things' come out?

Filming for Wild Things starts in fall 2025, so we probably won't see it until late 2026 or early 2027. There’s no official date yet, but it's one to keep on your watchlist—especially if you're into pop culture stories that go deeper than the surface. You can tune into this gripping series on Apple TV+.
